Breaks

Since I am in my break of school right now because I just got finished my exams, I got quite more time on my hands...and I am not doing homework. School breaks for me are enjoyable but rare and lots of fun.

The summer breaks are the longest yet the snow days are good, but likely on snow days you have homework to catch up on.Homework takes up most of the day but It must be done. Homework is not my idea of fun but I don't mind doing it because It will make my future brighter.

Breaks from school are a lot of fun and if you have finished with your homework it makes it even more enjoyable of a day.

The Transition

Hey guys,

Everyone has to go through the big step from grade 8 to grade 9, some kids find it great, quick and easy and then there are the ones that find it very hard and depressing. For me I was one of the Lucky one's that found it very quick and very easy. There are a few import factors that played into my transition from grade 8 to grade 9 and they were my friends, my attitude and my sports.

Friends always help with the transition... as long as they're good ones and not just ones that will use you. I saw that many of my friends went off on different paths but my true friends were always there and we always stuck together. Friends really make for a smooth transition.

Another important aspect of the transition that I found was having a good attitude on the good things and the bad things. For example if I didn't get in a class with my friends, I didn't go all crazy and bomb the class. You need to stick with it, it Will make you a better student in the end.

One of the best things and differences from high school to public school is the sports. There are so many different sports to pick from, I play football and hockey. All in all sports really gives you something to do if your not involved in extra activity's, it will help the transition go very smoothly.

Now I am just got finished my 1st semester and things are going great. If there is any words I would say to kids who have exams , that is study. You can never study enough for the exams!
